Canvas & Quality
Learn about our premium canvas, print finish, inks, colour accuracy, and the quality checks behind every InkSmithCo artwork.
InkSmithCo artworks are printed on premium 380 GSM primed cotton canvas, selected for its rich texture, durability, and ability to hold deep, vibrant colours. The canvas is designed to give each artwork a refined gallery-style finish while maintaining strength and long-term visual quality.
Yes. Our canvas prints are made using high-quality printing processes and durable inks designed for long-term indoor display. With proper care and placement away from harsh moisture or prolonged direct sunlight, your artwork can retain its colour depth and premium finish for years.
We use Green Guard certified inks that are eco-conscious, non-hazardous, and made for high-quality art reproduction. These inks help deliver strong colour accuracy, clean detailing, and a safer print finish for homes, offices, and interior spaces.
We make every effort to represent each artwork as accurately as possible. However, slight colour variation may occur because phone, laptop, and desktop screens display colours differently. The final print is produced with quality checks to ensure the artwork remains close to the intended design, tone, and finish.
Yes. Since our artworks are printed on premium cotton canvas, the final piece carries a subtle woven canvas texture. This gives the artwork a more elevated, tactile, and gallery-like appearance compared to flat paper prints or posters.
Yes. Every InkSmithCo artwork goes through quality inspection before dispatch. We check the print quality, colour output, frame finish, surface condition, and packaging readiness so the piece leaves our studio in the best possible condition.
InkSmithCo artworks are professionally printed using high-quality digital printing processes. While the artwork itself may be digitally created, curated, or design-led, the final canvas is produced, finished, inspected, and packed with careful attention to detail.
InkSmithCo follows a more conscious production approach by using eco-conscious inks and carefully selected raw materials wherever possible. Our Green Guard certified inks and responsible production practices help reduce unnecessary harm while maintaining a premium print finish.
InkSmithCo focuses on curated wall art, premium materials, and design-led presentation. We use 380 GSM primed cotton canvas, Green Guard certified inks, refined frame options, and quality inspection at multiple stages. The goal is not just to print an image, but to create wall art that feels considered, elevated, and ready for beautiful spaces.
Sizes, Frames & Gallery Wraps
Find answers about choosing the right size, understanding frame options, and selecting the best finish for your space.
InkSmithCo artworks are available in multiple size options depending on the artwork’s orientation and format. You can view the available sizes directly on each product page before adding the artwork to your cart.
Some artworks may be available in portrait, landscape, or square formats, while others may have selected size options based on the original design composition.
As a simple rule, choose a size that feels proportionate to the wall and the furniture below it. For example, artwork placed above a sofa, bed, console, or dining unit should usually cover a strong visual portion of that furniture width without looking too small or overcrowded.
For statement walls, larger formats create a more premium gallery-like presence.
A Gallery Wrap is a canvas finish where the artwork is stretched around the sides of a wooden stretcher frame. This gives the piece a clean, modern, frameless look and allows it to be displayed directly on the wall without an external frame.
It is ideal for minimal, contemporary, and gallery-style interiors.
A Floater Frame is a premium framing style where the canvas appears to sit inside the frame with a subtle shadow gap around it. This creates a refined floating effect and gives the artwork a more finished, interior-designed look.
InkSmithCo offers floater frame options for customers who want a more elevated presentation.
InkSmithCo currently offers the following canvas finish options:
| Finish | Best For |
|---|---|
| Gallery Wrap | Clean, minimal, modern spaces |
| Black Floater Frame | Bold, contemporary, high-contrast interiors |
| Gold Floater Frame | Luxe, elegant, festive, and statement interiors |
The available frame options can be selected on the product page before checkout.
Choose Gallery Wrap if you want a clean and minimal look. Choose a Black Floater Frame if your space has modern, bold, monochrome, or contemporary styling. Choose a Gold Floater Frame if you want a warmer, more luxurious, classic, or festive finish.
The right frame depends on both the artwork style and the room where it will be placed.
In a Gallery Wrap, the canvas is stretched around the sides to create a finished edge. Depending on the artwork design and production suitability, the side wrap may carry an extended, mirrored, or design-safe continuation of the artwork.
Our team ensures that the final wrap looks clean and does not compromise the main artwork composition.
No. A properly finished floater frame is designed to sit around the canvas without covering the main artwork area. It gives the canvas a framed presentation while keeping the artwork visually open and complete.
The frame enhances the piece without interrupting the composition.
You can request a size or frame change only if your order has not moved into production. Since most InkSmithCo artworks are made to order, size and frame changes may not be possible once printing, stretching, framing, or finishing has begun.
For urgent changes, contact us immediately with your order number.
Not always. Size and frame availability may vary depending on the artwork’s orientation, composition, and production suitability. The options shown on the product page are the available choices for that specific artwork.
This helps ensure that every selected format maintains the correct visual balance and print quality.
Where applicable, framed and finished canvas artworks are prepared for easy wall display. The exact hanging support may depend on the size, frame type, and production format.
You can check the product details or contact our team if you need help understanding installation requirements for a specific artwork.
Yes, custom size requests may be possible depending on the artwork, print quality, and production feasibility. For custom size requirements, contact our team before placing the order so we can check the artwork file, proportions, and best possible output.
Custom size orders may follow a separate production and confirmation process.
Custom Prints & Personal Artwork
urn your photographs, digital art, illustrations, or personal memories into premium InkSmithCo canvas prints.
Yes. You can get your own photograph, artwork, illustration, digital design, or personal image printed on premium InkSmithCo canvas. Once you share your file, our team reviews it for print suitability before production.
This is ideal for family portraits, wedding photographs, travel memories, digital artworks, gifting, and personal wall art projects.
For best results, upload a high-resolution file in JPG, PNG, PDF, or TIFF format. The file should be clear, sharp, and large enough for the canvas size you want to print.
Avoid sending screenshots, heavily compressed WhatsApp images, or low-resolution social media downloads, as they may not print clearly at larger sizes.
The required resolution depends on the final print size. Larger canvas prints need higher-resolution files to maintain sharpness and detail.
As a general rule, the image should look clear when zoomed in on a screen. Once you share the file, our team can check whether it is suitable for your selected size or suggest a better size if needed.
Yes. Before production, our team can review your file for basic print suitability, including sharpness, proportion, cropping, and possible quality concerns.
If the file is too small, blurry, pixelated, or unsuitable for the selected size, we will guide you before moving ahead with the print.
Basic file preparation may be possible depending on the requirement. This can include minor cropping, proportion adjustment, brightness correction, or print-safe formatting.
However, advanced editing, image restoration, background removal, heavy retouching, or custom design work may require additional time and charges after review.
Yes. Family photos, wedding photographs, travel memories, portraits, and personal moments can be printed as custom canvas artworks, provided the image quality is suitable for the selected size.
For the best result, we recommend using the original camera file rather than a forwarded or compressed version.
Yes, you can print digital art, illustrations, paintings, or artist-created artwork as long as you own the file or have permission to print it.
InkSmithCo does not print copyrighted artworks, brand logos, celebrity images, or third-party artwork unless you have the legal right or written permission to reproduce them.
Yes, custom size requests may be possible depending on the artwork file, image proportion, and production feasibility. Our team will check whether your file can be printed cleanly at the requested size.
If the requested size does not match the image ratio, we may suggest cropping, resizing, or an alternate size.
Cropping may be required if the image ratio does not match the selected canvas size. Before production, our team will try to preserve the most important part of your image.
For portraits, family photos, and wedding images, we recommend choosing a size that matches the original image orientation to avoid cutting important details.
Where required, our team may share a basic preview or confirmation layout before production, especially if cropping, resizing, or custom formatting is involved.
The preview is meant to confirm placement and proportion. Final colour and texture may vary slightly depending on screen display and canvas printing.
Custom prints are made specifically for your selected file, size, and frame option. Because of this, custom prints are not returnable for change of mind, wrong file selection, or personal preference after delivery.
However, if the product arrives damaged, defective, or different from the confirmed order details, we will review the case as per our return and replacement policy.
You can place a custom print order through the Custom Prints page on our website. Select the required size and frame option, upload or share your artwork file, and complete the checkout.
For special requests, custom sizes, or file-quality doubts, you can contact us before placing the order at hi@inksmoithco.com or 9311448241.
Shipping & Delivery
Find answers about shipping timelines, delivery coverage, tracking, packaging, and how your artwork reaches you safely.
Yes. InkSmithCo ships across India to serviceable pin codes through trusted courier and logistics partners. Availability may depend on your delivery location, package size, and courier coverage.
If your location is not serviceable at checkout, you can contact our team and we will try to help with an alternate solution wherever possible.
Yes. Shipping is already included in our product pricing, so you do not have to worry about surprise shipping charges at checkout for standard orders.
For special delivery requirements, oversized custom orders, remote locations, or project-level bulk shipments, additional logistics support may be discussed separately before confirmation.
InkSmithCo artworks are made to order, so the total timeline includes production, quality checking, packing, and shipping. Standard orders are usually dispatched after the artwork is printed, finished, inspected, and safely packed.
The exact delivery time may vary depending on artwork size, frame selection, order volume, and your delivery location.
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive shipping details with the courier partner name and tracking information. You can use this tracking information to follow the delivery status of your order.
Please ensure that your phone number, email address, and shipping address are entered correctly at checkout.
Every InkSmithCo artwork is packed with care to protect the canvas, frame, edges, and corners during transit. Depending on the size and finish, we use suitable protective layers, corner protection, and secure outer packaging.
Large or framed pieces may require additional packing support to ensure they travel safely.
Please check the outer packaging before accepting the delivery. If the package appears heavily damaged, torn, wet, crushed, or tampered with, take clear photos before opening it.
We strongly recommend recording an unboxing video for your artwork, especially for framed or large-format orders. This helps us support you quickly in case of transit damage.
Courier delays can occasionally happen due to weather, regional restrictions, remote delivery locations, courier load, or other logistical issues. If your order appears delayed, you can contact us with your order number and tracking details.
Our team will check with the courier partner and help you with the latest available update.
You can request an address change only if your order has not yet been dispatched. Once the package has been shipped, address changes may not be possible or may depend on courier partner policies.
For urgent address changes, contact us immediately at hi@inksmithco.com or 9311448241 with your order number.
Express delivery may be possible for selected orders depending on artwork size, production status, frame selection, and delivery location. Since our artworks are made to order, express timelines must be confirmed by our team before commitment.
For urgent requirements, please contact us before placing your order.
Yes. Once your order is dispatched, tracking details will be shared with you. You can use the tracking link or AWB number to check the current shipment status.
If the tracking link does not update immediately, please allow some time, as courier systems may take a few hours to reflect the latest movement.
The courier partner may attempt delivery again or contact you directly, depending on their process. Please keep your phone reachable around the expected delivery date.
If a delivery attempt fails multiple times, the package may be returned to us. In such cases, re-shipping may require additional coordination and charges depending on the courier status.
At present, InkSmithCo primarily focuses on shipping within India. International shipping may be considered for special requests depending on product size, destination, packaging feasibility, and logistics cost.
For international delivery enquiries, please contact us before placing your order.
Returns, Damage & Replacement
Understand how returns, damage claims, incorrect orders, and replacements are handled for made-to-order artworks.
Most InkSmithCo artworks are made to order based on your selected artwork, size, and frame option. Because of this, returns are not accepted for change of mind, wrong size selection, colour preference, or if the artwork does not match personal room expectations after delivery.
However, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will review the case and assist you as per our replacement policy.
If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number, clear photos of the package, photos of the damaged artwork, and an unboxing video if available.
Once we review the issue, we will guide you on the next steps for replacement or resolution.
We strongly recommend recording an unboxing video when you receive your artwork, especially for framed, large-format, or custom orders. The video helps us verify whether the damage happened during transit or before delivery.
Damage claims are easier and faster to review when photos and an unboxing video are available.
If you receive an artwork, size, or frame different from what you ordered, please contact us with your order number and clear photos of the product received.
After verification, we will arrange the appropriate correction, replacement, or support based on the order details.
Custom prints are created specifically using your uploaded image, selected size, and chosen frame option. Because they are personalized products, custom prints are not returnable for change of mind, wrong file selection, low-quality uploaded file, or personal preference after delivery.
If the custom print arrives damaged, defective, or different from the confirmed order details, we will review the case for replacement.
Slight colour variation can happen because every screen displays colour differently. Phone, laptop, and desktop screens may show brightness, contrast, and colour tones in different ways.
For this reason, minor colour variation from the website preview is not treated as a defect. However, if there is a clear printing error, you can contact us for review.
Returns are not accepted for wrong size selection because each artwork is produced according to the size chosen at checkout.
We recommend checking your wall dimensions carefully before placing the order. If you are unsure about size, you can contact our team before ordering and we will help you choose a suitable option.
Please report any damage, defect, or incorrect order issue within 48 hours of delivery. This helps us review the issue quickly and coordinate with the courier or production team where required.
Requests shared after this window may be difficult to verify and may not be eligible for replacement.
For a replacement request, please share:
| Required Detail | What to Share |
|---|---|
| Order Number | Your InkSmithCo order ID |
| Product Photos | Clear images of the artwork and issue |
| Packaging Photos | Photos of the outer and inner packaging |
| Unboxing Video | Recommended for damage claims |
| Issue Description | Brief explanation of the problem |
Send these details to hi@inksmithco.com or WhatsApp/call 9311448241.
In some cases, we may request the product to be returned for inspection or courier claim purposes. In other cases, photos and videos may be enough for verification.
Our team will guide you based on the nature of the issue, product size, and claim requirements.
Replacement timelines depend on the artwork size, frame option, production load, and delivery location. Since replacement pieces also need to be printed, finished, quality checked, and packed, the timeline may be similar to a new made-to-order artwork.
Our team will share the expected timeline once your replacement request is approved.
Refunds are generally not offered for made-to-order artworks, custom prints, wrong size selection, colour preference, or change of mind.
If an order issue cannot be resolved through replacement or correction, our team will review the case and decide the appropriate resolution as per the order and policy conditions.
Care & Installation
Simple guidance on cleaning, handling, hanging, and maintaining your InkSmithCo canvas artwork for long-lasting beauty.
Use a soft, dry, clean cloth to gently remove dust from the canvas surface and frame. Avoid using water, cleaning sprays, alcohol-based cleaners, wet wipes, or harsh chemicals, as they may damage the print surface or frame finish.
For best results, dust the artwork lightly and regularly.
We do not recommend using a wet cloth on the canvas surface. Moisture can affect the print, canvas texture, and finish over time.
If the artwork needs cleaning, use only a soft dry cloth. For framed artworks, the frame edges can also be gently dusted with a dry cloth.
Avoid placing your artwork in harsh or prolonged direct sunlight. Continuous exposure to strong sunlight may affect colour depth over time.
Canvas artworks are best displayed in spaces with balanced natural light, soft indoor lighting, or indirect sunlight.
We do not recommend placing canvas artwork in very humid spaces, bathrooms, damp walls, or areas with frequent moisture exposure. Humidity can affect the canvas, frame, and overall finish.
If you want to place art near a powder room or semi-humid area, make sure the space is well ventilated and the artwork is not exposed to direct moisture.
YES! Most finished InkSmithCo canvas artworks are prepared for easy wall display. The exact hanging support may vary depending on the artwork size, frame type, and production format.
Before installation, please check the back of the artwork and use suitable wall hooks or hardware based on the weight and wall type.
Always hold the artwork from the sides or frame, not from the printed canvas surface. Avoid pressing, scratching, bending, or placing pressure on the front of the artwork.
For larger pieces, we recommend two people handle the installation to prevent accidental drops, corner damage, or frame stress.
As a general rule, the centre of the artwork should be close to eye level. In living rooms, bedrooms, offices, or hallways, this usually creates the most balanced viewing experience.
When placing artwork above furniture, leave enough breathing space between the furniture and the bottom edge of the artwork so the wall does not feel crowded.
Choose a size that feels visually connected to the furniture below it. The artwork should not look too small or disconnected from the wall setting.
For a premium look, place the artwork centrally above the sofa, bed, console, or dining unit, and keep balanced spacing around it.
Yes. You can move your artwork, but handle it carefully during shifting. Keep the canvas and frame protected, avoid dragging it against walls or furniture, and do not stack heavy objects against it.
If storing it temporarily, keep it upright in a dry indoor space.
Store the artwork in a clean, dry, indoor space. Keep it upright, away from moisture, direct sunlight, sharp objects, and heavy pressure.
Do not place heavy items on top of the artwork, and avoid storing it in damp rooms, balconies, basements, or areas with high heat.
Yes. InkSmithCo canvas artworks can be used in homes, offices, cafes, studios, hotels, restaurants, and other interior spaces.
For commercial spaces, we recommend choosing artwork sizes, frames, and placements based on wall size, lighting, customer movement, and the overall design language of the space.
Avoid direct harsh sunlight, moisture, wet cleaning, harsh chemicals, rough handling, sharp objects, and pressure on the canvas surface.
Also avoid placing the artwork close to high-heat sources, open windows during heavy rain, or areas where it may be bumped frequently.
